New Jersey Mobile Notary

A mobile notary, also known as a traveling notary, is a notary who travels to a customer's location to perform notarizations. They can be useful for real estate or mortgage transactions, closings across state borders, and transactions that require multiple signatures.

Mobile notaries must have a notary commission and can offer services in any state where they hold that commission. They can charge up to the maximum fee set by state law for notarization services, and in some states, they may also charge a separate travel fee.
